Sunday Crop Card Share

Hello,
Today I attended a crop put on by Sherri at Hulcar hall. It was a lot of fun and I managed to turn some stash into six lovely cards.

Stamps used are from Altenew, Fiskars, Creative Memories and a misc. freebie set.

Thank you for looking!

Knitted Dishcloth Thanks

Hello, today I'm sharing a quick little thank you gift I made for a kind neighbor. I loved knitting up these little dishcloths. I made the box out of  heavy DSP on my box punch board. The 3x3 card was embellished by tracing the leaves with clear glitter pen. The thanks sentiment is from Quietfire Design.

Thanks for the visit!

Crochet Hat -Pink Cotton

Hello and welcome!
I like knitting but I love crochet, it's so easy to design as you go. For this hat I used Berroco -Modern Cotton DK. It is a nice light weight perfect for summer.

Just a Note Card for March CCC

Hello!

This card was made for the March Card Chain Challenge. I managed to use most of the required items on it including the colour scheme. Image is Stampers Anonymous coloured with alcohol markers.
I entered this into day 7 at the 30 Day Coloring Challenge on facebook.

There is still time to join in for the April challenge.
It's so much fun getting happy mail each month.
Thanks for your visit.

On Gossamer Wings Tags

These tags are for a March swap at Canadian Stamper Sampler Swap group on FB.
I am also entering them in the March Challenge on Love Handmade cards...group on Flickr.

Trio of tags

Close up

Supplies used : Cheery Lynn Butterfly dies.

Tips:
-No tags, no problem. For the tag base I cut a piece of black card stock to #6 size then used the corner punch on top. Completed using slot punch.
-The silicon finger guards are great for attaching glue dots. I take glue dot off backing paper with my paper piercer,  place where I want it then push into place with the silicon finger guard. Lift off and voila no more lifting squishy glue dots. :)
-To keep organdy ribbon bows from opening carefully heat the knot with a blast from a heat tool.  Use caution as too much heat will melt the ribbon, I suggest trying out on a scrap piece of ribbon first.

Crocheted Hat

Hello!
As most retired people that live in the country know it is all to easy to hunker down beside a cozy fire for the winter. Leaving home only for the occasional foray into town for groceries. As nice as that sounds round about mid February you start to get what some call cabin fever. The winter blahs hit me when I spent my first Valentines Day in 33 years alone with my D.H. out of town.
I decided enough of hibernating, it's time to join into society again. With this in mind I found out that our awesome yarn shop has drop in knitting on Wednesday and Thursday. I've met a nice group of talented knitters who are more than happy to share their knowledge. In addition I joined Curves and found another nice group of ladies at the ready to lift ones spirits. It takes a bit of effort to make new friends but it is so worth it.

Crochet hat designed by me.

Thanks for looking, wishing you an awesomely creative day!
